          Switchback Inspection

          This automates the inspection of a vertical façade. When the user selects this, they are asked the width they would like to inspect, the height, the direction, and the interval. When they start the inspection, the drone will move horizontally in the direction specified to the distance specified in width. Then, it will climb the distance specified in the interval and move back the direction it came for the specified width distance. It will repeat this switchback motion until it completes a sweep at the specified height. This is ideally used to inspect a building façade, beams, etc.

           

          Tunnel Inspection

          On Spot Vertical Yaw Inspection

          This automates the inspection of a vertical shaft. When the user selects this, they are asked the height they would like to inspect and the interval at which they would like to inspect. When they start the inspection, the drone will rotate 360 degrees, climb the specified height interval, rotate another 360 degrees and repeat until the specified height is reached. This could potentially be used to inspect chimneys, silos, elevator shafts, vertical ducts, etc.
