    Innovative tilt nacelle technology that combines Vertical TakeOff and Landing (VTOL) and hover features of a multi-rotor aircraft with superior forward flight capabilities of an airplane.

    Forward and vertical flight with controllable angle of attack allows for sensing and communications packages with orientation sensitivity to remain directed towards the area of interest.

    How HS01 Came to Be

    The design is inspired by the shape of a horseshoe crab (and some think it looks like a turtle!) and aviation history, the Vought V-173 a.k.a. the "Flying Pancake" of the 1940s.
